Country/Americana with swagger: Harvey Russell and his band The Widowmakers offer their own combination of alt-country and honky tonk, drawing inspiration from a range of artists from George Jones right through to American Aquarium. With the successful release of his second solo album "Pure as the Flame" in 2024, Harvey has a bunch of new songs to share.

After over a decade developing and honing his songwriting, Harvey has dialled into the heart of country music with an authentic and finely-tuned ear for the song-craft of the genre, in all its forms. On stage, The Widowmakers deliver Harvey’s songs full of heart and energy, mixing old school country stylings with contemporary rock n roll. Harvey and the boys are thrilled to be coming back to Tanswell's for a big night of country rock!
