The Danny Walsh Banned have been playing fever-pitched shows and jumping on tables for over a dozen years. Danny and his trusty band of half a dozen including effervescent and iconic keyboard player, The Weed, serve up country-soul and rock’n’roll flavours infused with a touch of 70s Aussie boogie that will probably have you dancing on the tables, too. Danny Walsh has toured around the world, from the pubs of Ireland, cafe's of Copenhagen and rooftops of Berlin to the Edinburgh Fringe and Clarksdale (Mississippi) Festivals.

The ‘Banned’s third album, “In the Wimmera” is centred around stories from Danny's rural upbringing and was listed in Rhythms Magazine’s top 10 albums of 2020, following extensive airplay (Double J, 3RRR, 3PBS and ABC Wimmera) and rave reviews:
