From gold-rush history to contemporary beats, Tanswells has always been a place for people to gather, celebrate and make memories. Today, the historic hotel is home to Wonder Mountain, a boutique music and arts festival born from the creative community behind Strawberry Fields. Each year, the festival transforms Tanswells and its historic spaces into a vibrant weekend of live music, DJs, art, dancing and good times — adding another chapter to the long and colourful story of this much-loved Beechworth pub.
